Trainer Portal Installation Step 1 - Install / Check IIS

Alert

It is important that an experienced IT resource is available to manage this process.

Ensure that the .NET Framework version 4.8 is installed on the server machine. The .NET Framework can be downloaded from the Microsoft website.

Ensure that Internet Information Services (IIS) is installed on the server machine, along with the ASP.NET 4.8 components. At a minimum, the IIS Management Console and ASP.NET (4.8) components (which will automatically include its dependencies such as .NET Extensibility, ISAPI Extensions and ISAPI Filters) must be installed. Additional IIS features may be installed if desired, but are not required by the VETtrak Trainer Portal.

See Portals and the dot net framework 4.8
