Confirmation Overrides

Confirmation Emails are automated email messages sent to users when they complete the registration process. There is a default confirmation that applies globally to all registrations, however the overrides feature allows that default to be replaced for registrations into specific programmes. The replacement utilises a mail template of type Receipt.

VETenrol Admin Config Card for Award Verification Overrides is a category of the Confirmation Emails pageIt contains only one section, Overriding Templates, which is used to manage overrides for the confirmation email.

Overriding Templates

Access this feature from the Configuration () in VETenrol Admin, by clicking the Confirmation Email heading or associated text to open the page, and then click the Overrides tab.

Key aspects of the Overriding Templates section:

  • Overriding Templates List — A record of existing overrides that can be managed. The list will only appear when at least one override exists.
  • New Override button — Opens a pop-up to create a new entry. A button of the same name and function appears at the top of the page.

Creating an Override

A suitable Receipt (type of mail template) must already exist.

To create a new override, click on either of the New Override buttons on the page. This will open the Confirmation Email Template Override pop-up.
