VETembark User Settings

VETembark has an area dedicated to configuring your user settings.

These are accessed under the Manage Settings area, accessed on the top right-hand side of the VETembark window: 

This will then display the Manage your account area: 

 

Manage your account

These settings are focused on managing your unique user information.

Within the Manage your account area, there are defined areas that allow you to view particular options:

These subheadings include:

  • Phone – Allows you to add a Phone Number to your user details.
  • Email – Allows you to update the Email Address for your user login.
  • Image – Allows you to add/update a Profile Image to your user details.
  • Signature – Compose an Email Signature to be attached to your work item replies.
  • Notifications – Configure what Email Notifications you wish to receive from VETembark.
  • Password – Allows you to update the Password for your VETembark log in.
  • Two-factor authentication – Provides the option to enable added login security for your VETembark account.

Phone

In this are you can enter/manage a Phone Number for your VETembark user profile.

  1. Enter a Valid Phone Number - Numbers only, residential/mobile/international formats accepted.
  2. Press Save to apply.

Email

In this are you can update the Email Address for your VETembark user profile.

  1. Enter the new Email address you wish to use. This will need to be a valid email format:

  2. Once you have entered the desired address, Press the Change Email button to save the details.

Image

In this are you can enter/manage a Profile Image for your VETembark user profile.

  1. Press Choose Image to browse for an image to upload/use.
  2. Press Submit to upload the image into your VETembark profile.

Signature

In this are you can compose an Email Signature to be attached to your Work Item replies.

  1. Make use of the formatting tools across the top of the input area to compose your desired Email Response Signature. Note: You can also paste formatted text in this area.
  2. Press the Submit button to save your Signature.

Notifications

In this are you can manage what Email Notifications you wish to receive for VETembark.

  1. Make use of the Off/On slides to the right-hand side of each notification option to toggle what alerts you wish to receive.
  2. Press the Submit button to save the notification settings.

Password

This area provides the option to update your VETembark log in password.

  1. Enter your Current password in the topmost field to verify this change.
  2. Enter your desired New password in the second field.

    Note: The new password must be at least 6 characters long.
  3. Enter the desired New password a second time to check correctness. If the correctness check fails, you will receive an error when attempting to save the details:
  4. Press Update Password to process the change.

Two-factor authentication

You can activate two-factor authentication for when you sign in to VETembark .

  1. Setup Authenticator App will provide instructions on how to set up the Two-factor authentication resources - see below.
  2. Reset Authenticator App will guide users through the steps to reset their Two-factor authentication if they have experienced an issue.

Select Setup Authenticator App will display the following details:

  1. Select a Two-factor authentication app that suits the phone platform of your choice.
  2. Scan the QR Code or Enter the Code within the app for your specific VEtembark account.
  3. Once you have set up the Authenticator, you will receive a Verification Code - this will need to be entered into the field displayed.
  4. Once you have entered this information, press the Verify button to complete the Two-factor authentication set up.
