If you use USI functionality in VETtrak, you must update to VETtrak 22.1.0.2 or later by:
- 1 September 2022 if you create USIs through VETtrak with Drivers Licence identity documents for NSW, NT, ACT, TAS, WA or SA.
- Otherwise, 14 July 2023, which is the date that version 4 of the USI web service will be decommissioned and no longer available

VETtrak version 22.1.0.2 is configured to make use of USI Web Services Version 5.
In order to perform Unique Student Identifier (USI) related functions, access to the USI Web Service is required.
To maintain appropriate securities in the information that is sent and retrieved via this method, the USI development team monitor and upgrade the web service in use regularly. Continued development of VETtrak ensures that the most modern USI web service will be used.
