Assessment Modes are used to categorise how a particular student may have been assessed when working to complete training.
Assessment Modes are assigned on a per unit basis within wizards such as Record Results and Edit Training Plan, and are managed via a drop down selection in these areas:
Open the Configuration Manager by choosing Manage > Configuration from the menus. The Configuration Manager displays an alphabetically ordered explorer tree.
- Adding a new Assessment Mode
- Editing an existing Assessment Mode
- Deleting a Assessment Mode
- Viewing the Assessment Mode report
Adding a new Assessment Modes
- Right-click Assessment Modes and choose Add Assessment Mode.
This will open the Assessment Mode Wizard:
- Enter a Name for the Assessment Mode.
- Optionally enter a Code for the Assessment Mode.
- This Assessment Mode is archived indicates if the Assessment Mode should be archived. If ticked, the Assessment Mode will be added/moved to the Archived Assessment Modes branch.
- Optionally provide a Description for the Assessment Mode.
- Click Next and then Finish.
Editing an existing Assessment Mode
- Expand Assessment Modes.
- Right-click the Assessment Mode and choose Edit Assessment Mode.
This will open the Assessment Mode Wizard, where you can make changes.
Deleting an Assessment Mode
- Expand Assessment Modes.
- Right-click the Assessment Mode and choose Delete Assessment Mode.
- Click Yes when asked to confirm the delete.
If an error occurs, the Assessment Mode has likely been used previously and is included in historical data. In this case, you will need to archive the Assessment Mode to remove it from active use.
Viewing the Assessment Mode report
- Right-click Assessment Modes and choose Show Assessment Mode report.
The report will be displayed in a new tab/window.
