New features

Updates

  • VETenrol now supports the Auto-process Web Reservations publish option for occurrences in VETtrak.

  • Payment Settings have been separated from General Settings and into their own page.
  • The Terms & Conditions section has been moved from General Settings to Agreements.
  • Validation has been added for QLD LUI.
  • The print layout when printing registration details from the VETenrol Admin has been improved.
  • Removed the question at the Identity Step: Are you a New Zealand Citizen? This choice is now supported by the Citizenship Status question. Subsequently, the Registration Setting: Skip New Zealand question has also been removed.
  • LLNs can now have introductory text, and questions can be moved up/down to control the ordering within the LLN.
  • Summary Report can now be filtered by Occurrence Date Range.
  • Registration Alert email attachment (received by RTO when email alerts are enabled) now includes payment method.



VETenrol Release Notes - April 2018

  • Added a new payment integration for the Stripe payment service.
  • We have rearranged the Admin area slightly to make the menu structure better fit a standard sized screen and to accommodate some of the new features.
  • Add a new Linked Occurrence feature. You can now set up an occurrence and assign linked occurrences. When a client registers for the main occurrence their registration will be automatically duplicated in VETtrak into all of the linked occurrences that have been set up in VETenrol admin. See Programmes->Linked Occurrences in VETenrol admin.
  • Added SMTP mail server functionality. You can now specify your own SMTP email server and test do a test email. This was added so that users would have the ability to trace sent emails and follow up on an non deliverable emails. This will assist users to get around the issue where email could not be delivered to an internal address from an outside source by using the VETtrak mail service. For security reasons, it will become mandatory for all users to migrate to this email delivery method later in 2018.
  • Enhanced the Eligibilities functionality. Eligibilities are a tool that enable the user to answer a series of yes/no questions that leads to a either positive or negative outcome. The most common use for this tool would be to assess eligibility for funding. When completed the user can be directed to an enquiry form, a programme registration or directed to an occurrence with a price ID selected depending on the outcome of the Eligibility test. All results are saved in VETenrol admin and can later be linked to a registration. There is also an Eligibility Builder tool that can be used to generate a URL that can be sent to someone for completion.
  • Added an option so that people with a single name can flag that in the registration process.
  • Added a date of birth rule so that anyone registering for a course must be at least ten years old.
  • Added a new status so that any registrations that have been saved for later can be viewed and if necessary allow follow up action to be taken.
  • Added a new Links page that has the common VETenrol links listed on a single page.
  • Added a new email template context for Enquiries enabling follow up emails to be sent from submitted enquiries. 
  • Added Mail Summary to Reports, which lists the emails sent from VETenrol for a given date range.
  • Added a new option so that the Smart & Skilled step can be excluded by programme type in Programmes->Step Exclusions.
  • VET Student Loans - When a student completes the Vet Student Loans section the payment option now defaults to "VET Student Loans".
  • Fixed an issue where the Purchase Order number wasn't being pushed through to VETtrak.



VETenrol Release Notes - July 2018

New Features

  • A Registration Builder is now available from the Custom menu in the Admin.
  • The optional file upload provided at the AVETMISS step can now be hidden.
  • Text can now be added to the Payment Method section in the registration process. Separate text can be applied depending on if the registration is a for an individual or a group.
  • Email notifications can be sent when new eligibilities are received, via Alerts & Notifications: New Eligibility Alerts.
  • New Linked Occurrences feature allowing users to register in a single occurrence and be automatically registered in one or more other occurrences.
  • A new Messages feature is now available. This is a tool that can be used to display a message to site visitors, for example alerting users to a planned outage. We may use the message service to display messages in your VETenrol Admin portal too. There is also a new Message Report so you can read past messages that have been sent.
  • A new page: History.aspx is now available for users to view/print their enrolment history. Details are obtained from VETtrak and are not limited to registrations placed through VETenrol.

 

Updates

  • Various text entry fields now offer an edit functionality to format text in an editor.
  • Sending emails and creating mail templates now features a cleaner interface.
  • The Registration page has been updated to allow searching by Location, occurrence, and Registration ID. In addition, the registration ID is now listed.
  • The Save for Later feature has been updated to allow customisation of the email sent.
  • Saved eligibility forms can now be duplicated.
  • A copy of the participant's registration details (including Skills First Declaration) can now be optionally sent via the Staff Member Alert to enrolment staff.

 



VETenrol Release Notes - November 2018

New Features

  • Single Name option under Registration Settings to turn the feature off.
  • Prior Education Recognition (AVETMISS) can now be disabled.
  • It is now possible to determine if someone who registers is enrolled in VETtrak for all classes, the next available future class, or all future classes of the occurrence.
  • Staff member Alert now includes a new option to attach the registration details (including Skills First Declaration).
  • Individual and Group Payment Preferences now provide for Instructions, which will appear for the user between the Payment Option heading and the payment method drop-down menu.
  • Option to display programme short Codes in the C/Kalendar instead of full programme names.


Updates

  • The AVETMISS step question How long have I been employed will now restrict selections based on the answer provided to Current Employment Status. Ie. If a user selects Part-Time Employment, only answers relevant to this status will be available.
  • The default EFT notice for the Confirmation Email now includes the VETenrol Registration Number as the EFT Reference for clients to quote when they choose EFT as their payment method.
  • The Mail Log feature has been extended to include more types of messages, including Save For Later notices and Enquiries.
  • Indicators for mandatory fields have been added to the USI Step, and when accepting Terms and Conditions.
  • Some fixes to Kalendar behaviour, including the incorrect display of the 'more' items for courses starting on a Saturday.
  • Group Booking is now displayed if enabled on the occurrence in VETtrak for both calendar and kalendar.
  • Auto-Process Web Enrolments feature now enabled and can now be managed from Settings->Site Settings->Miscellaneous
