Compliance preferences - USI

Choose File > Global Preferences.

Select the Compliance preferences from the Preference items list and then click the USI tab:

The options include:

USI web service URL

This is the URL used by VETtrak to contact the USI website. Making changes to this URL may cause features that rely upon it to fail. The URL should not need to be changed manually.

MAS-ST (Machine Authentication Service - Secure Token) URL

This is the URL used by VETtrak to contact the ATO Machine Authentication Service. Making changes to this URL may cause features dependent upon it to fail. The URL should not need to be changed manually.

Automatically delete identity document when Client USI application is successful

Enabling this preference will set the default state of the option to Automatically delete this identity document when a USI application is processed successfully in the Client Identity Document Wizard.

The option can still be ticked or unticked manually in the wizard.

Send updated Client contact details to the USI Registry

This preference controls if client contact details should be updated with the USI registrar automatically when the client is updated in VETtrak.

NOTE: Details will only be updated if the client has granted your organisation edit permission with the USI registrar.

Attempt to locate a USI when editing a Client without one

This will set the default state of the Locate client's USI checkbox at the final step of the Personal Wizard. If this preference is enabled, the checkbox will be automatically ticked.

The Locate client's USI in the USI registry checkbox can still be ticked or unticked within the wizard.

When creating a USI at the end of the Client Personal Wizard

Upon the end of the Client Personal Wizard, this will set your preferences to either (by default) select:

  • Create USI now
  • (or) Add to create USI batch

This Client's USI will then be scheduled for upload via the USI Batch utility if the Add to create USI batch option is chosen, this will ensure it is not processed immediately but rather later, at the user's discretion.
