Managing multiple instances of VETenrol

Clients that have purchased multiple instances of VETenrol can view and manage all their registrations through the one Administration. Configuration remains individual to each instance and to administer an instance will require login with the relevant Client ID. However, accessing the one Admin to handle Registrations can save time.

The choice to give your original VETenrol account access to view registrations for your new instance is generally offered immediately after setup. However, this can be enabled (or disabled) at any time. Please make the request via VETtrak Support.

When an account has access to more than one VETenrol instance, there are some small changes to the Registrations page:

  1. The Client ID column identifies from which VETenrol instance the registration originated.
  2. The Account View drop-down menu allows the filtering of registrations by instance.

 

Note

It is recommended that staff members handling registrations in conjunction with multiple instances of VETenrol are assigned the VETenrol Registrations Only role in the VETtrak Security manager.

Tools & Reports will display only the links for the current instance. For example: The Client ID would need to be manually substituted for an alternative instance when using the Registration Builder, Links page or API Summary report.
