This article covers the basics required to begin using VETsurvey. It is important to go to the Administration interface for VETsurvey and complete the required preparation before directing participants to complete surveys.
Login
Navigate to: http://<YourDomain>.vetsurvey.com.au/admin
NOTE: The <YourDomain> should be replaced with the name provided to you by VETtrak Pty Ltd.
For example the Admin URL for the VETsurvey demonstration is http://demo.vetsurvey.com.au/admin
A security dialog will open and you will be required to provide your login credentials.

- Enter your User name.
- Enter your Password.
- Click the OK button.
After a successful login, the Questionnaires screen will be displayed.
Navigation
Admin Navigation (Pre 21.2)
The primary method of navigation is the menu situated at the top of the screen, with items aligned horizontally.
Positioning your mouse pointer over a menu item will cause it to highlight and, if one exists, display the associated sub-menu. Press the left mouse button to choose the highlighted item.
The menu consists of the following items:
- Questionnaires - Displays a list of completed surveys.
- Surveys - This sub menu provides options for managing surveys.
- Misc - This is a sub-menu for accessing various settings.
- Reports - This sub-menu contains reporting options.
Admin Navigation (Version 21.2+)
The primary method of navigation is the menu situated to the left. Less frequently used menu items, relating to Account and Configuration, appear at the top right.
Positioning your mouse pointer over a menu item will cause it to highlight. Press the left moues button to choose the highlighted item and the associated page will display, or if one exists, the associated sub-menu. The primary menu consists of the following items:
- Activity - Displays a list of completed surveys.
- Tools - This sub-menu provides options for managing surveys and sending survey links.
- Reports - Displays the various reports available for VETsurvey.
- Help - This toggles the footer where links to the help centre and PDF manual are available.
Initial Setup
VETsurvey's Settings must be reviewed and completed to ensure a quality experience for participants. This means ensuring the appropriate choices are available for building a survey URL and for participants when completing mandatory information for their survey.
Admin Version 21.2+ users should visit the Account and Configuration pages and work through each of the options presented, whereas Pre 21.2 Admin users must visit of each of the options available in the 'Misc' sub menu.
