Parameters are part of the Custom Agreements feature, which is accessed from the Configuration () page via the Agreements link under Step Creation.
Parameters determine when the agreement will be displayed at the Agreements step during the registration process.
Viewing parameters for your agreement
The Parameters page, where parameters are created, is opened from the Agreements List of Custom Agreements:
- Click the link ( with a number) in the Parameters column for the agreement.
This will open the Agreement Conditions page where parameters can be managed from the list.
Modifying a parameter
To modify an existing parameter:
- Clicking the Parameter ID ( with a number) in the Parameter List table.
This will display the entries for the parameter in the Add/Edit condition for display popup allowing them to be adjusted and saved as necessary.
- Adjust the Name or Type and Price Type Codefields as necessary.
- Leaving both fields blank will cause the agreement to be displayed for all occurrences.
- Entering only a Programme Name will cause the agreement to be displayed for all occurrences with that programme name.
Note: When beginning to type into the Name or Type field, VETenrol will display a drop-down list of programme names that include text matching what has been entered. - Entering only a Programme Type only will cause the agreement to be displayed for all occurrences of every programme associated with the specified Programme Type.
- Only entering a Price Type Code will cause the agreement to be displayed when a customer is registering in an occurrence with the matching code.
- Completing both fields will cause the agreement to be displayed only when a customer is registering in an occurrence where both the programme name (or type) and price type code match.
- Click the Save button.
The Parameter List will be updated to reflect any saved changes.
Unused Agreements
If an Agreement does not have at least 1 parameter set, it will never appear in the registration process.
The Agreements step will be skipped if there aren't any agreements that apply to the course in which the user is registering.
