This feature allows you to create templates for frequently used email and sms messages, and invoice items.
Open the Configuration Manager by choosing Manage > Configuration from the menu. The Configuration Manager displays an alphabetically ordered explorer tree.
Adding a new template
- Expand Merge templates.
- Right-click the relevant template branch and choose Add new template.
This will open the Merge Template Wizard for the chosen template type.
Editing an existing template
- Expand templates and the relevant template type.
- Right-click the template and choose Edit template.
This will open the Merge Template Wizard, where you can make changes.
Duplicating a template
- Expand templates and the relevant template type.
- Right-click the template and choose Duplicate template.
This will open the Duplicate merge template wizette:
- Enter the New merge template name.
- Click the Finish button.
Deleting a template
- Expand templates and the relevant template type.
- Right-click the template and choose Delete template.
- Click Yes when asked to confirm the delete.
If an error occurs, the template has likely been used previously and is included in historical data. In this case, you will need to archive the template to remove it from active use.
