Student Numbers step

VETenrol Admin Config Card for Registration Steps Student Numbers is a category of Optional Steps, which is accessed from the Configuration (VETenrol Admin Icon Config) page in the VETenrol Admin.

These settings apply to the Student Number (Student#) step in the standard registration process. This step facilitates collection of State-based student numbers, with content typically determined by the user's residential address.

The options in this section are:

VETenrol Admin Student Number step options section



VIC

Victorian Student Number (VSN) requires the user to provide their student number or complete the questions if they are under 25 and acknowledge the Victorian Government VET Student Enrolment Privacy Notice.


Enable VSN

This option enables the Student Number step in the registration process for residents of Victoria.

  • If the option is ticked () other settings relating to the step will become available.
  • The step will not be part of the registration process if their Residential Address selected at the Details step is not in Victoria or if this option is unticked ().

VETenrol Student Number Step of Standard Rego for Vic residents under 25

VSN enabled ( ticked box ) and Victorian resident under 25

VETenrol Student Number Step of Standard Rego for Vic residents 25 and over

VSN enabled ( ticked box ) and Victorian resident 25+


Collect VSN for all registrations

Use this option to enforce inclusion of the VSN regardless of the State selected by the user for their Residential Address.

  • This option becomes available only when Enable VSN is ticked.



SA

WorkReady requires the user to provide their student number or complete the questions, and then acknowledge a specialised declaration by ticking a checkbox.


Enable WorkReady

This option enables the Student Number step in the registration process for residents of South Australia.

  • The step will not be part of the registration process if the user chooses a state other than South Australia for their Residential Address at the Details step or if this option is unticked ().

WorkReady enabled ( ticked box ) and South Australian resident



QLD

Learning Unique Identifier (LUI) is only presented to students under the age of 18.


Enable LUI

This option enables the Student Number step in the registration process for residents of Queensland.

The step will not be part of the registration process if:

  • The user chooses a state other than Queensland for their Residential Address at the Details step.
  • The user is over 18 years of age.
  • This option is unticked ().

VETenrol Student Number Step of Standard Rego for Queensland resident

LUI enabled ( ticked box ) and Queensland resident under 18 years.



VSN Agreement

This section is for altering the text that appears at the end of the Student Number step for Victorian students.

  • Click the Default button to insert the default text for editing, or type plain text or html directly into the field.
  • Alternatively, click VETenrol Admin Pencil icon to open the Editor, where text can be entered and formatted, then click Apply and the resulting html will be inserted into the field. Click Save to commit the changes.



SA WorkReady Participant Agreement

This section controls the text for the participant agreement displayed at the Student Number step for South Australian students.

  • Click the Default button to insert the default text for editing, or type plain text or html directly into the field.
  • Alternatively, click VETenrol Admin Pencil icon to open the Editor, where text can be entered and formatted, then click Apply and the resulting html will be inserted into the field. Click Save to commit the changes.
