Concessions Step

Concession is a category of Optional Steps, which is accessed from the Configuration () page in the VETenrol Admin.

These settings apply to the Concession step in the standard registration process. The Concessions step requests details regarding concessions, including government allowances. There are no mandatory questions, although providing some answers will prompt for more information that is required.

  This button commits any changes to the settings. It appears to the right of the navigation area and at the bottom of the page. Saving will keep changes to settings made across tabs.

Concession step options

First, control if the step will be included in the registration process:

• Enable Concession step

Then, the individual options are:

• Do not collect CentreLink Details
• Include upload of CentreLink payment evidence
• Do not collect Concessions
• Remove Concession file upload
• Collect Jobactive Provider details
• Collect Initiatives
• Collect Overseas Fee Paying Student question

Enable Concession step

This option enables the step in the standard registration process.

• If the option is ticked () other settings relating to the step will become available.
• If the option is unticked () the step will not be part of the registration process.

Enable Concession step (  ) without any other step options ticked

Do not collect CentreLink Details

This option removes the Centrelink Allowances section from the step.

Include upload of CentreLink payment evidence

This option includes an option to upload payment evidence, which can be useful for NSW Smart and Skilled.

Do not collect Concessions

This option removes the Concessions section from the step.

Remove Concession file upload

This option removes the option to upload file(s) for the Concessions section.

Collect Jobactive Provider details

This option expands the Concession step to request Job Services Australia job seeker details.

Collect Initiatives

This option expands the Concession step to include a section on initiatives for which the user may be eligible. The initiatives are state based, determined by the occurrence location

Collect Overseas Fee Paying Student question

This option expands the Concession step to include a section on overseas students.

Concession Step Introduction

This section controls the introduction for the Concession step, which appears under the heading Concession Application.

• Click the Default button to insert the default text for editing, or type plain text or html directly into the field.
• Alternatively, click to open the Editor, where text can be entered and formatted, then click Apply and the resulting html will be inserted into the field. Click Save to commit the changes.
