Programme types provides a way to group/categorise your Programmes.
Open the Configuration Manager by choosing Manage > Configuration from the menu. The Configuration Manager displays an alphabetically ordered explorer tree.
- Adding a new Programme type

- Deleting a Programme type
- Viewing the Programme type report
NOTE: Each Programme type can be expanded to show the Programmes assigned to it. The subsequent Programmes and occurrences listed function in the same way as they do from the Programmes branch.
Adding a new Programme type
- Right-click Programme type and choose Add new Programme type.
This will open the Programme Type Wizard:
- Enter a name for the Programme type.
- Optionally, enter a Code for the Programme type.
- Enabling This Programme type is the default will automatically set this as the Programme Type when creating a new Programme in the Programme Wizard.
- Do not make this Programme type available for use indicates if the Programme type should be archived. If ticked, the Programme type will be added/moved to the Archived Programme types branch.
- Optionally provide a Description for the Programme type.
- Click Next and then Finish.
Editing an existing Programme type
- Expand Programme types.
- Right-click the type and choose Edit Programme type.
This will open the Programme Type Wizard, where you can make changes.
Deleting a Programme type
- Expand Programme types.
- Right-click the type and choose Delete Programme type.
- Click Yes when asked to confirm the delete.
If an error occurs, the Programme type has likely been used previously and is included in historical data. In this case, you will need to archive the code to remove it from active use.
Viewing the Programme type report
This report lists all the Programme types, including those that have been archived.
- Right-click Programme types and choose Show Programme type report.
The report will be displayed in a new tab/window.
