VETtrak includes a list of suburbs by default, which can be updated regularly via the Update AVETMISS fields utility.
Managing Suburbs manually is NOT recommended. Please use with extreme caution! Always try the Update AVETMISS fields utility before making changes to suburbs.
Open the Configuration Manager by choosing Manage > Configuration from the menu. The Configuration Manager displays an alphabetically ordered explorer tree.
Viewing the suburb report
This report details all the suburbs for the chosen state.
- Expand Suburbs.
- Right-click the state and choose Show suburb report.
The report will be displayed in a new tab/window.
Adding a new suburb
- Expand Suburbs.
- Right-click the appropriate state and choose Adjust suburbs.
This will display the Suburb Management Wizette:
In the top right-hand side, press the Add button.
This will open the Suburb Wizette:
- Enter the Name of the suburb.
- The State will be pre-selected, but can be changed if necessary.
- Enter the Postcode for the suburb.
- Click Finish.
Editing an existing suburb
Editing an existing suburb will not update any address records that currently utilise it. Manual intervention will be required to amend existing address records.
- Expand Suburbs.
- Right-click the appropriate state and choose Adjust suburbs.
- Locate the suburb you need to amend and press the Edit button:
- Make the changes you need, and press Finish to save the details:
Deleting a suburb
- Expand Suburbs.
- Right-click the appropriate state and choose Adjust suburbs.
- Locate the suburb you need to amend and press the Delete button:
- Click Yes when asked to confirm the delete:
