Course Display: Occurrence Details

Course Display is a category of Standard Settings, which is available from the Configuration () page in the VETenrol Admin.

Click the Standard Settings heading or associated text to open the page, then click the Course Display tab.

Occurrence Details

This section contains options for what information is displayed for the occurrences on the VETenrol main page. 

The options are:

• Show registration close dates
• Show course start and end dates
• Show occurrence short code
• Show vacancies
• Hide occurrence locations
• Hide qualifications
• Hide qualification code from headings
• Show delivery mode details
• Show occurrence description details
• Show occurrence description on registration steps
• Show enrolment costs
• Hide costs with a zero dollar value
• Show View Classes button
• Always show list of classes with occurrence
• Do not list units on class
• Show View Units button

All of these settings apply to the main page of VETenrol, with a course selected.

Show registration close dates

Toggle this option to show or hide the 'Registration Close' date.

Show course start and end dates

Toggle this option to show or hide the Course Dates for occurrences.

Show occurrence short code

Toggle this option to show or hide the 'Course Code' for occurrences.

Show vacancies

Toggle this option to enable or disable the vacancies row for users browsing courses.

Hide occurrence locations

This setting toggles the display of the occurrence location.

This will also affect the course details displayed during the registration process:

Hide Qualifications

This setting toggles the display of the occurrence qualification.

Hide Qualification Code for Headings

This setting toggles the display of the qualification code in the programme heading.

Show delivery mode details

Toggle this option to enable or disable the Delivery Mode row for users browsing courses. Delivery mode is retrieved from the VETtrak setting of the same name and will only display the primary option.

Show occurrence description details

Toggle the Show occurrence description details option to show or hide the individual descriptions for occurrences retrieved from VETtrak for users browsing courses.

Show occurrence description on registration steps

The setting Show occurrence description on registration steps can be enabled to show the occurrence description during the standard registration process. It appears together with the programme name and price.

Show enrolment costs

Toggle this option to show or hide the cost for the occurrence.

Hide Zero Costs

This setting toggles displaying the cost for occurrences with a zero dollar value cost.

This setting is only applicable if Show Costs is enabled.

Show View Classes button

Toggle the option to enable or disable the button for users browsing courses to view classes.

When enabled, users can view the list of classes by clicking the button and then hide it by clicking again.

Always show list of classes with occurrence

The option can be enabled to automatically show the class list for each occurrence. It requires the Show View Classes button option to be enabled. Always show list of classes with occurrence disables the View Classes button, preventing users from showing and hiding the class list.

Do not list units on classes

This option toggles the display of units that have been assigned to the class in VETtrak. When enabled, this will prevent VETenrol from retrieving units when displaying the Classes list. This option can be particularly useful when dealing with long Classes lists by improving the display time.

Units must be assigned to the classes in VETtrak for them to display by default.

Show View Units button

Toggle this option to enable or disable the button for users browsing courses to show the list of units.

When enabled, users can view the list of units by clicking the button and then hide it by clicking again.
