Users that have fully entered their registration details, but did not provide their credit details to properly complete the registration, can be emailed regarding their non-payment.
Requirements for using this feature:
- Credit Card payments enabled for your VETenrol account.
- An email template with the type Pay Now.
- A registration with the Payment Status of "Pending Payment", or "Deferred Payment".
- The Web Enrolment in VETtrak should not yet have been processed.
Following up on a registration without a payment
Email the user via the Registration Details page using the icon, which is located at the bottom of the Client Details section.
This will open the Email Client where you can select a suitable Pay Now template and send the email. Note There must be an existing template of type Pay Now. Typically VETenrol offers a small selection of generic templates that can be used as is or customised. |
The email contains a link that allows the user to complete the final payment step for their registration.
When a user pays, the registration record in your Admin will be updated to reflect the changes.
Note
On successful payment, VETtrak will be updated with the payment information providing the Payment Gateway option called Send credit card payment details to VETtrak automatically is enabled.
Bulk follow-ups
You can use the default Registrations list, or further narrow your records by using Abandoned / Pending available from the Activity () menu to view only pending registrations instead.
Did you know?
You can sort records by Payment Status by clicking on the column heading. The first click will arrange them alphabetically in ascending order (A - Z) and a second click will change the order to descending (Z - A).
- Tick the checkbox beside the registration ID of records that have the Payment Status of Pending Payment. Remember to give attention that the date of the registration is within a recent time frame. Additionally, if the list has pagination do not attempt to tick registrations from different page numbers, rather keep your selection to a single page at a time.
- Ensure Bulk Action, situated beneath the list, is set to Bulk Mail and click Submit.
This will open the Email Client where you can select a suitable Pay Now template and send the email. The same email will be send out each email address recorded for the ticked registrations.
